This recipe is "short" & sweet! Just a few easy ingredients, with a fantastic result!
1 stick of butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon roasted sesame oil
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Cali Furi, or Toasted Nori Flakes, or Roasted Kelp
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream the butter until it is soft and pale yellow (electric mixer recommended), drizzle sesame oil and mix until combined. Add flour and salt and mix gently until the dough is smooth. Lastly add your seaweed!
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or foil and press the dough into the pans until they are 1/4 inch thick. Refrigerate for min. 30 minutes, and up to 24 hours. Score the dough into rectangles.
Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire racks.
Furikake Chex Mix

You can use any combination of cereal and snack items for this!
Chex, Wheat Chex,, Pretzels, Bugles, Goldfish, Cheetos, any kind of nuts, whatever you enjoy!
Toss the cereal, chips, snacks together. This recipe will make 2 large pans full, utilizing 3 boxes of cereal and 3 bags of chips/snacks.
Next comes the a butter-soy sauce syrup:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup Honey, Maple, or Karo Syrup
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Melt the butter first, then add & mix the rest into a pot together.
Once the sauce is made, divide your dry mix into 1 or 2 large pans, pour with sauce and mix until evenly coated.
Add 1 whole bottle of our Cali Furi or Cali Furi Fire & toss!
Pop in the oven at 250F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
